Article Purchase Terms

Welcome to The Pet Casebook. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the purchase, creation, publication and use of a single digital article published on our online magazine. The service is operated by SEO by Yoni FZC (“we”, “us”). By ordering or receiving any digital article, you agree to these Terms.

1. What you are buying

You are purchasing a personalized satirical article crafted by our editorial team, which will be published on The Pet Casebook magazine at https://www.petcasebook.com/ under a unique article URL. The core deliverable is the public web article hosted by us. If you select the optional Printable PDF add-on at checkout (or when requesting a quote), we will also deliver a print-ready, magazine-style PDF for personal printing and optional self-framing by you. We do notprovide physical printing or frames. Any photos on our website showing frames or display settings are illustrative only; the deliverables are the public web article and, if selected, the Printable PDF. Use of the PDF is for personal, non-commercial purposes and is subject to the license in Section 8.

2. Satire and editorial notice

Our content is satirical and fictional. It exaggerates habits, manias and hobbies for entertainment only. It is not factual journalism or real reporting. Humor is subjective; ordering implies you understand and accept this editorial approach.

3. Ordering, timeline and publication workflow

We offer two fulfillment paths:

  1. A) With Review (default unless you opt out at checkout)
  • After checkout and submission of the intake form with the honoree’s details, we send a first draft within 24–48 business hours after receiving all required inputs.
  • You have one (1) included revision round to request reasonable adjustments to tone, jokes or minor details. Substantial rewrites or theme changes may incur an additional fee quoted in advance.
  • Review window: we will wait up to 7 calendar days for your feedback. If your response is delayed, the article’s publication date may be postponed and the originally selected launch date may no longer be available.
  1. B) Direct‑to‑Publish (if you opt out of review at checkout)
  • We proceed to publish on or around the selected publication date once we have the required inputs. No pre‑publication draft is sent in this path.

4. Publication and visibility

By ordering, you accept that the article will be published on The Pet Casebook online magazine at https://www.petcasebook.com/ under a unique article URL. We control the article’s layout, headline style and placement. We may make non‑substantive edits for clarity, formatting or legal compliance. We do not guarantee specific visibility, traffic, virality or social shares.

Social media publication: We do not publish the article or the certificate on our social media accounts by default. We will deliver the unique article URL and the certificate privately to the buyer and or the honoree, as applicable. If the honoree later shares the article on their own social channels and tags our official account, we may contact the honoree to request permission to repost or share it in our stories. Any repost will occur only with the honoree’s explicit authorization, will include visible credit, and may be withdrawn at the honoree’s request. We will not publish personal photos without consent.

Service availability: exceptional discontinuation. Our intention is to keep The Pet Casebook and your article publicly accessible indefinitely. However, in rare and exceptional circumstances beyond our reasonable control (for example regulatory or hosting actions, catastrophic infrastructure failures, extended platform outages, or other force-majeure events), we may need to suspend or permanently discontinue public access to the magazine. If this occurs: (i) orders already paid and published before the discontinuation are not eligible for refunds; (ii) orders that are in progress and not yet published will be refunded in full; and (iii) orders published within the previous 72 hours may be refunded upon written request. We are not responsible for the continued availability of third-party caches, shares, or screenshots.

5. Names, images and anonymity

  • As a privacy default, we publish the honoree’s first name only.
  • We generally do not request personal photos; we may add generic or thematic imagery. If you provide any image or material, you represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use it and you grant us the license described in Section 8.
  • Anonymity of buyer: you may remain anonymous as purchaser. If the honoree asks who commissioned the piece, we will not disclose your identity. If the honoree requests removal, see Section 6.
  • Name usage and coincidence notice. We publish custom articles using the honoree’s first name only to protect privacy. If another person with the same name reads the article and feels identified, any resemblance is unintended and purely coincidental. The piece is satirical and does not purport to depict or identify any real person other than the honoree designated in the order.

6. Honoree removal policy

If the honoree does not wish the article to remain online, they may contact us using the official channel listed in Section 13. After we verify identity and receive the article URL, we will permanently remove the article from our site. No refund is due to the buyer because the editorial work has been completed and delivered. We cannot control copies, screenshots, shares or third‑party caches.

7. Refunds, cancellations and revisions

Because each article is custom‑made, purchases are non‑refundable once (i) the first draft has been sent (for orders With Review), or (ii) the article has been published (for Direct‑to‑Publish orders). If we fail to deliver any draft within the stated timeline (for With Review orders) or fail to publish by the selected date for reasons not caused by your delayed inputs or feedback, you may request a full refund. Requests received after publication may be declined or treated as a new order.

8. Licenses and intellectual property

  • Our IP: All articles, layouts and related materials are the intellectual property of The Pet Casebook and/or SEO by Yoni FZC. We retain all rights not expressly granted.
  • License to you: We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, non‑commercial license to share the published article by linking to it, and to repost screenshots or excerpts for personal use on social media with visible credit to The Pet Casebook. Commercial use, resale, derivative works for third‑party business purposes, or training AI models on our content are not permitted without prior written consent.
  • License to us: You grant us a worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, reproduce, edit for clarity, publish, display and distribute the article and any materials you provide to fulfill your order, solely in connection with our magazine, portfolio and promotional channels. We will never publish personal photos of the honoree without explicit consent.

9. Acceptable use and content boundaries

We reserve the right to refuse or remove submissions that include prohibited topics or could reasonably be considered harassing or defamatory. Our editorial scope favors clean, observational humor. We do not publish content involving politics, religion, sexual content, violence, criminal activity or body shaming.

10. Payments, taxes and chargebacks

Prices are listed in USD unless noted otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe or other available methods. Your bank may charge foreign transaction or currency fees. If you initiate a chargeback after delivery, we may provide evidence of work performed and publication; if the dispute is resolved in our favor, we may suspend service on future orders.

11. Privacy

We use buyer and honoree data exclusively to create and deliver the article, operate our site and comply with law. We do not sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details. We will not reveal the buyer’s identity to the honoree.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Services are provided “as is” with reasonable editorial care. We do not guarantee that any article will achieve a particular reaction or outcome. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a digital article is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

13. Contact and takedown requests

For support or removal requests, contact us at the email and/or WhatsApp listed on our site and include the article URL and proof that you are the honoree or authorized representative. We may require additional verification to prevent abuse.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of purchase applies to your order. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means.

15. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the UAE, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply in your country of residence.
