Fiction and coincidences
Names, characters, places and scenarios may be invented or dramatized. Any resemblance to actual persons or events is coincidental unless explicitly stated.
Editorial boundaries
We aim for clean, observational humor. We avoid politics, religion, sex, violence, crimes and body shaming. We reserve the right to update these boundaries.
Corrections and right of reply
How to request a correction: Email editorial@petcasebook.com with the article URL, a clear description of the issue and any supporting sources. For identification concerns, include the specific text and why you believe it refers to you.
Our review: We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to decide within 10 business days. Complex cases may take longer. We may request additional information.
Possible outcomes: Correction note, clarification, editor’s note, partial edits, takedown or no action if the request lacks merit. We will explain our decision where feasible.
Right of reply: When appropriate we may offer a brief reply statement that we edit for length, clarity and legal compliance.
Advertising and sponsorship disclosure
Current status: The magazine may operate without ads or affiliates. If we include sponsored content or affiliate links, we will label them clearly (for example, Sponsored or Affiliate). Editorial opinions remain our own.
Gifts and review units: If we accept a gift, loan or review unit, we disclose it in the piece. Acceptance does not guarantee coverage or a positive opinion.
Accessibility statement
We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA where feasible.
Measures: Semantic HTML, text alternatives for images where practical, meaningful link text, keyboard navigability and readable contrast.
Known limitations: Legacy embeds and archived media may not fully meet the guidelines. We are working to improve them.
